At Pewaukee Veterinary Service, emergency pet care is a primary part of our veterinary services. We know that in a time of crisis, it’s most convenient for you and your pet to trust the team you already know. Our veterinarians and technicians have the experience and the tools to give your pet the care they need when they need it most.
We offer emergency pet care every day of the week during our regular hours which are:
Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 8:00 pm
Friday: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
(Including Urgent Care)
Sunday: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
(including Urgent Care)

What is an Emergency Situation?
Whether your pet experiences a serious injury or a sudden illness, we can help. Some of the emergency situations we see include:
- Traumatic injures (i.e. hit by a car, falling from a great height)
- Ingestion of a toxic substance
- Vomiting or diarrhea for more than 24 hours
- Blood in vomit, urine, or stool
- Eye injuries
- Difficulty breathing
- Seizures
- Disorientation or confusion
- Sudden collapse
